McGraw Powersports will return to the MotoAmerica paddock this season with Meen Motorsports, which is fielding 2013 AMA Pro Superbike Champion Josh Herrin in Superstock 1000 and 2015 Superstock 600 Champion Joe Roberts in Supersport.

McGraw Powersports has a long history working with dealerships to provide motorcycle enthusiasts extended service contracts through Western Service Contact Corp., which is also part of The McGraw Group.

McGraw sponsored Elena Myers and Team 21 Motosport in the 2015 MotoAmerica Superbike championship. Myers completed the season fifth overall in points, the best finish by a woman in the 39-year history of the class. Myers is now a full-time McGraw employee.

“Since Elena is not racing this year, this sponsorship gives us the opportunity to continue our support of MotoAmerica and motorcycle racing,” McGraw Powersports CEO John Chu said. “We’re always looking for opportunities to expose the motorcycle industry to the history of McGraw Powersports and with Meen Motorsports we have a great partner to represent our brand.”

Meen Motorsports owner Ameen Sajjadi added, “A big part of our program is to work with companies that provide quality services to our racing fans, so working with McGraw for 2016 was a no brainer. The Meen team looks forward to putting the McGraw brand on the box this season.”

The nine-round 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship kicks off April 8-10 at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.
